Chamblee Charter High School Army JROTC "Bulldog Battalion"
The Chamblee Charter High School (CCHS) Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AJROTC) program was instituted 19 years ago. It received 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards at the 2008 Northview Raider Meet. In 2006, the program was named champion in Dekalb County Drill. In 2008, the program was awarded the status of Honor Unit with Distinction by the U.S. Army. More than 100 cadets are involved in this program, which offers before and after-school activities such as Flag Detail, Color Guard, Raider Team, and Female and male Drill Team. The program is under the direction of U.S. Army Retired Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Gloria D. Dunklin and U.S. Army Retired Master Sergeant (MSG) Gregory "Top" Mathis
